About $70, 000 worth of cheese that was stolen from a Germantown trucking company has been located in Milwaukee, police said Monday.
A 54-foot long trailer containing about $70, 000 worth of cheese was stolen shortly before 12:30 a.m. Friday from D&G Transportation, N118W18574 Bunsen Drive, according to Germantown police.
A semi-tractor used to steal the trailer was recovered later Friday and the empty trailer was also found about 10 a.m. Friday in the Milwaukee area, police said.
It was not clear where in Milwaukee the cheese was found.
In that case, Veniamin Balika, 34, of Plainfield, Ill., was caught driving a 18-wheeler at the Vince Lombardi Service Area off the New Jersey State Turnpike.
