Fake a five o'clock shadow
Beards are more common, but the 5 o'clock shadow is still the favorite of most women, and the chosen look of actors and athletes. No matter how long it actually takes to grow, once you have the right amount of coverage and basic structure in place, simply maintain it for a permanent look. "All that needs to be done is for the 'neck beard' to be given a clean line, " says Gilman.
